Why does Pickit sometimes disappear from the PowerPoint ribbon?

Some users occasionally notice that Pickit disappears from the ribbon in PowerPoint, this behavior is related to how Microsoft 365 manages Office web add-ins and is not caused by Pickit itself.

If Pickit disappears occasionally, you can usually fix it yourself in a few seconds by re-adding it from the add-ins panel.  In most cases, simply going to Home → Add-ins and selecting Pickit restores it immediately.

However, if it happens frequently or affects multiple users in your organization, it is likely related to your Microsoft 365 or IT configuration. In that case, your IT department may need to review how the add-in is deployed or how user profiles are managed.
