How do I enable / disable auto-tags on my uploads?

Pickit can use AI-powered auto-tagging to automatically add tags to images you upload. These tags help index your content and make images easier to find when searching in Pickit.

Auto-tags are based on what the AI can visually identify in an image and are therefore fairly generic. They are intended to supplement your own tags and metadata, rather than act as the only method for indexing your content.

Depending on your organization's needs, you can choose whether auto-tagging should be enabled or disabled.

Enable or disable Auto-tag

  1. In Admin Mode, select Settings from the left-hand side menu.
  2. Go to AI.
  3. Toggle Auto-tag on or off.

When enabled, Pickit will automatically generate tags for new image uploads.

Note: Changes to the Auto-tag setting only affect files uploaded after the setting has been changed. Enabling or disabling Auto-tag will not add or remove auto-tags from files that have already been uploaded to Pickit.
